Full Detail

Feb. 17 , 2008

It was a nice sunny day today (but very cold), so it seemed like an ideal opportunity to completely detail the Swift. Claying wasn't required as this was done earlier in the week.

Before...

The cloudy, grey and scratched paintwork was all over the car, not just these parts!

Next the car was done all over with Chemical Guys Ez-Glaze on white spot buffs, this was to give a good surface for the M-Seal to adhere too. This gave a lovely even finished
Once this was buffed off a layer of CG M-Seal was applied and left for 30 mins to cure while I had some lunch.
After lunch another layer of M-Seal was applied by hand and left for half an hour again. During this time I had a go with some Mothers Plastic Polish I'd recently purchased.

After

Here we are nearly 6 hours later, SRP, Ez-Glaze, 2x M-Seal then all topped off with Butter Wet Wax.
Understandably I am impressed with the results with the paintwork restored to it original glory!
